Thornbury Arts Festival
The Festival has been running for 48 years and is the longest running small arts festival in the country. Over the years it has hosted world class and nationally acclaimed performers including Stephane Grappelli, Humphrey Lyttelton and Julian Lloyd Webber.
Our aim is to promote the arts for the benefit of all members of the communities in Thornbury and surrounding areas. We do this by organising the Arts Festival, the Eisteddfod and the Severn Vale Arts Trail and an annual Schools Theatre Event.
The Thornbury Arts Festival is a charity and is organised by a band of dedicated and passionate volunteers that make up the main committee, the Eisteddfod and the Art Trail Committees. These are joined by willing helpers who give up their time to help with stewarding, box office and promoting the Festival in all its various forms.
If you have an interest in the Arts at all why not get involved with the Festival. It is a festival for all of us so go on- be a Festival Maker.
